What do you need to do before signing up for Supervised Field Experience?

1. talk to me about my expectations for the course;
2. get my tentative approval for your admission into the course;
3. get the name and phone number of one internship site and set up an interview. I will give you others following your decision that you do not plan to pursue a site.
4. create a resume that is approved by me to take on your interview;
5. interview and be accepted at the site;
6. complete any paperwork required by the site, including Act 33/34 clearances for "child sites." Ask about any other requirements for the site, including times that must be kept "sacred" on your schedule.
7. let me know that you have a site -- or that you do not plan to sign up for PSY 499.
8. register for PSY 499 during preregistration following getting a signed "Permission to enter closed section form."
