Psi Chi is the National Honor Society in Psychology.
Psi Chi seeks to enhance psychology by supporting professional organizations
and educational activities. The Clarion chapter of the society encourages
and supports student professional development through discussions, speakers
and trips to professional meetings. Our chapter has a long record of community
service projects which function both to assist others and learn about ourselves.
Students who have strong academic records and are interested in psychology
are eligible to join.
Psi Chi offers a range of local, regional, and national programs. At the regional level, Psi Chi sponsors conventions in conjunction with the annual Midwestern Psychological Association conference in Chicago. The national organization holds a convention in conjunction with the American Psychological Association, sponsors undergraduate and graduate research award programs, and publishes a quarterly newsletter. National membership in Psi Chi has a one-time only fee of $35. Local dues are $10/year, $6/semester.
