Maintain a log of oppressive thoughts or actions towards members of nondominant groups (i.e., women, Blacks, homosexuals, people in wheelchairs, etc.) over the next week. Comments and actions can be overt or unintentional and well-intentioned.

• What do you notice? Were there more acts than you had expected? Fewer?
• How did each party respond? Did you notice a shift in the nature of the interaction after this?
• If the person receiving the prejudice seemed to respond especially well, what did he or she do? How did you feel observing this?
• If there was a third party involved, did he or she interpret the action differently? Did he or she respond differently?
