Questions about the role of focus and theory

  1. What is the relationship between theory and therapy? How does that influence the kinds of questions we ask and the kinds of interventions we use?

  2. How might theoretical viewpoint play out in the course of treatment plan development?

  3. Learn to recognize the focus in therapeutic leads (i.e., client, other, problem, therapist, we, family system, cultural/environmental/contextual).
