    Results: (25 pts.) _______

23 - 25 Results are strongly and clearly presented, with a one to two sentence summary at the beginning. Important points are developed and linked to at least two figures that make your points strongly. Figures and tables are easily understood and do not distort your data. Interpretation of your data is saved for the Discussion section.
20 - 22 Results are generally presented well, although the reader needs to search to identify your findings. Your verbal description of your data may not match your figures or tables.
19 and less Results may be presented in a superficial manner, with little description of the places where things went well or where you struggled. There may be significant interpretation (rather than description) of your data in this section. Figures or tables may be absent or unclear.

    Discussion: (25 pts.) _______

14 - 15 Results are interpreted in Discussion clearly, with questions such as the following considered: Why did things work well (or not)? How does this relate to the published literature? At least two references are incorporated well into this discussion and included in a reference section. Citations and references are done according to APA style.
12 - 13 Your interpretation is consistent with your data, but does not indicate a strong understanding of either your data or the literature. References are poorly integrated into your project. There may be problems with your citations and referencing.
11 and less Your interpretations and conclusions do not clearly match your data. (That is, you conclude that factors affected your project without clear support.) Interpretation may be absent. References, if used, may be forced to fit your discussion and appear to be tacked on rather than integrated.

    Technical Style: (5 pts.) _______

9 - 10 Paper is logical, clear and nicely written and presented. Proofing and spellchecking were done.
8 Some moderate problems with writing and proofing occur.
7 and less Outline is very weak or nonexistent. Significant problems with writing or proofing are present. Work may be plagiarized.
