Dave is a licensed Psychlogist with a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M University. In fact, for those who are in the know, Dave is a three time Aggie, with a B.S. in Zoology (Pre-Med) in 1970, a M.S. in Psychology in 1976, and the Ph.D. in 1987. No, it did not really take Dave eleven years to get the Ph.D. He worked in a variety of clinical positions at the masters level before returning to school. Dave has been a full-time faculty member at Clarion University since 1987. In addition to teaching and other faculty endeavors, Dave maintains a clinical practice and is on staff at several area mental health programs. Dave is married and has a beautiful five year old daughter who is often referred to as "genius child" during lectures. He is also very modest and unbiased regarding his daughter.
